a patient has a CT abdomen/pelvis done in March 2010. He is on a transplant list and a new physician wants to see the CT images in a 3D format. The 3D format is done using the March 2010 images but the date of service for the 3D is July 2010.

can we bill the 3D images alone? if not, any suggestions as to how to go about billing the 3D?
