The physician uses a Clamshell grasper and biopsies lesions of the trigone. The area of the biopsy was fulgurated with electrocautery on a 20-watt setting. Can someone explain to me what the difference of the two codes are. I know 52204 includes the fulgeration, but 52224 includes biopsy, too.
