My Dr.s are wanting to bill a 58661 for sterilization with V25.2. I don't think this is a supporting dx for this procedure!? Can any one help me with this????

If the reason for the procedure is sterilization the V25.2 is the only possible choice.

Yes I know that the V25.2 is all I can code, but are insurances paying? I need to know if they are accepting the sterilization code as a valid dx code.

It is a valid dx code it may not be a covered service. Not here is nothing you can do about the coverage issue. If the patients plan does not cover it then it s patient responsibility.
