Hello everyone,
When we code for infusions/injections along with an invasive procedure or say, CT with contrast, we do need to append 59 Modifier with the main Infusion/ Injection code (96365/96374).
However, should we also append the 59 to the add on codes?? Like if multiple infusions were done on the same day and 96366 was also coded, do we append the 59 to this code?
Please help!
