Hi,
One of our coders has used the 59430 3 times for one patient. The patient delivered at 1 hospital and then was transferred to the hospital we work because her baby had to go to the NICU. I think it should be an admit, subsequent visit and a discharge, not 59430 for each day.

Did your provider deliver the baby? If so, then mom's visits are included in the delivery or global chargeno matter which hospital she is at. Code 59430 is for the 6 week check if your provider did not perform the delivery.
