Hi everyone
I need help my physcian can't understand why this can't be billed bilaterally

Right L4-5 minimally invasive laminotomy with bilateral medial foraminotomies
I told him that 63047 is bilateral or unilateral
DX-spianl Stenosis

This is his rationale "The fact is that I am doing a bilateral decompression - and the fact that it is being done from a unilateral approach benefits the patient. This particular type of procedure is also well described in the literature; not experimental"

Any advise suggestions would be greatly appreciated
