our physician orders a 73120 hand 2vws, bilat. only one film was taken. this film contained both hands. My question is how would this be coded? 73120 alone, 73120-rt and 73120-lt, 73120-50. would you use modifier 52 at all? any help with this would be appreciated.

my thoughts are to code 73120-52 because you are only taking one view not the specified 2 views even though both hands were on one film.
