I met with a Radiologist today. He wants to use code 76880 for a US of extremity vessels. He claims it is not a vascular ultrasound. Yes he is looking at the vessels but the exam is not meeting the criteria of a doppler, duplex scan, etc. He is going with an extremity ultrasound. Anyone else have experience with this?
