Good Afternoon,
We started to receive denials from Medicare (NGS) for Fluoroscopic Guidance (done with ESIs) when done by a CRNA in Minnesota stating provider not eligible.
The previous Medicare contractor, WPS, paid these Fluoroscopic guidance charges. Has anyone else out here encountered this and what can I send with my appeals?

I have looked at the MN Board of Nursing, but I haven't been able to find anything specific to CRNAs (Advanced Practice Nurses) and fluoroscopic guidance.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am still searching for documentation to help me with this. Has anyone out there had any similar denials or does anyone have any pointers?
