In Radiation Oncology code 77011 we have been using this code in an SBRT setting to code for the SBRT planning, but I have found one source that says "this code is for the neurosurgeon with planning for the correct entry site through the patient's skull, or the appropriate placement of the burr holes. This could would not be reported for noninvasive radiosurgery procedures. For SRS/SRT/SBRT treatment plannin, the CT dataset acuisition code (code 77014) is reported." But this is the only place that I have found this. Anywhere else doesn't have a problem using this code. Does anyone know what the appropriate code would be?
