Can we charge for 77295 for two different body parts if the plan is signed on the same DOS and has a different CT dataset? If so, what modifier is needed?

The physician MUEs for 77295 are 1 unit per DOS with an MUE adjudication indicator (MAI) indicator of 3. An MAI of 3 means that you can appeal the denial of units over the MUE for the DOS. Here is a small bit of information per CMS Manual 100-20 Transmittal #1421:

There are instructions in the transmittal which I linked in my response on what is necessary to appeal.
