Hi!

I need help on this.

I have a case "screening colonoscopy" an excision is made at transverse colon for histology and there is also an excision at splenic flexure which is part of transverse ( per PCS body part ) as simple removal.

Question is: Can I code both with same code except the 7th digit which is X for histology and Z for polyp removal only?
