UHC seems to bundling a lot of our lab charges under 80048-bmp

My understanding of these lab panels is that you have to draw each of those in that panel to charge for it. Is this correct or did I misunderstand the guidelines for this.

Example: We drew 84520,84295,84132,82565,82435. We did not draw a 82947, 82374 or 82310. How can UHC bundle our payment into a 80048?

UHC uses the CCI edits to process claims. All of those codes hit to CCI edit for 80048. A modifier 59 will bypass the edit, but make sure you use the modifier correctly. Just because it's a separate test doesn't mean it's a (modifier 59) separate and distinct procedure.

But if we directly Billed 80048, we should not bill any individual component codes right(like 82310)?
