Have a question about these codes so pt had a lipid panel done but the triglceride results were higher than 400mg so cpt 83721 was put on modifier XU was put on there. Is still being denied for having an unbundle relationship w/procedure code 80061. So are they not allowed to be billed together even if the triglceride results was high?
