We have been told by the Manufactur of Quiktox a (12 class drug screen that just uses one speciman) that since 80101 is per drug class code that we can bill Medicare as follows 80101qw x 10 units. For the 10 different drug classes.

I always thought that since this was a one speciman test that you could only bill 80101qw x 1 unit. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Would love to see that coding info you referred to but unless you are a member of the CAP that link can't be viewed. Depending on the size could you copy & paste the info into the forum?
