At my work we are having a disagrement in how to code post bone marrow transplant pathology testing
?When a patient receives a bone marrow transplant, we analyze the DNA profile of the pre-transplant recipient and donor. Approximately 3 weeks after the transplant, they will send us a sample to assess whether or not the transplant was successful. When a patient receives a bone marrow transplant, we analyze the DNA profile of the pre-transplant recipient and donor. Approximately 3 weeks after the transplant, they will send us a sample to assess whether or not the transplant was successful. This is the RFLP 1POST (or first post-transplant sample) and is billed with 81265. Then, on a regular basis, the physician will send additional samples to ensure that the transplant is still going well. These are the RFLP BMSUB (or subsequent post-transplant samples) and are billed with 81266 and 81267. ?

I disagree with this coment . I belive it should be 82165-82166 or 82167-82168

ANy ideas in how to code this samples

thank you
