Hi,
I was wondering if someone may be of assistance. I am reviewing a claim from a provider and they are billing 2 units of this code. I am trying to understand the code itself so, the code description states qualative or quantative each speciman. So the eg,
HPLC, LC, LC/MS, LC/MS-MS, GC, GC/MS-MS, GC/MS, HPLC/MS does this mean all of these have to be included in the report to count as 1 UNIT? thanks

Column chromatography, includes mass spectrometry, if performed (eg, HPLC, LC, LC/MS, LC/MS-MS, GC, GC/MS-MS, GC/MS, HPLC/MS), non-drug analyte(s) not elsewhere specified, qualitative or quantitative, each specimen
