I work for a dermatology group and we do certain stains in house and certain stains we send to an outside lab but our dermatopathologist reads them. Can we bill 88342 and 88341 as line items with ones as global for the stains we did in house and then ones with 26 modifier for stains done at outside lab?. Also, we have had some dual stains (Melan/Ki67) where the 88344 is getting denied as bundled with 88342 for another stain done on same specimen. Is there a solution for this scenario?
