Does anyone know with certainty if we are allowed to bill for admin of covid vaccine 90480 when patient is being seen for an annual physical? I have heard the argument that 90480 is allowed because it's a special code that replaces 90471 (which is bundled to AP) however, when we bill it without a 25 modifier on the AP, it denies as bundled. I want to be sure we don't use modifier 25 fraudulently. Thanks!
