Does anyone have guidelines for coding these together? I have a patient that was given Toradol IVP and then continued to be infused with normal saline. Can I code for the 90761 if the additional time is documented?

Yes, you can bill these 2 codes together. However, you may only bill the hydration 90761 if it is provided as a secondary or subsequent service after a different initial service. Which you state an IVP was given. It must be greater then 30 min though.

Hope this helps!
