Can a psychologist bill 90791 and NP bill 90792 on the same, without a modifier? Both providers work for the same group.
 
It is a little odd. I think in this case it would come down to the medical records. It will need to be clear as to why the patient received an interview exam (90791) on the same day that they received medical care and additional psych services (90792). Was the 90792 a return visit on the same day for a worsening condition for example?
