Can you bill a 90801 and a 90804 together, and if you can do you need to add a modifier.

If it is same day, same provider, then no according to CCI edits.

There shouldn't ever be a reason to bill them both on the same day. if you are doing an assesment then that would encompas some therapy into that. I believe that is the reason they are listed in the CCI rules together.
