We have a retinal specialist that sees patient's initially and then when determines as stable, has them see the retinal NP. The NP continues with the MD's plan of treatment and orders/interprets the OCT's for "Monitoring of progression".

From what I see Medicare doesn't allow anyone but a MD or OD to bill globally for the 92134.

A question has come up if the NP can bill the TC-Technical component and the MD bills the 26-Professional component.

Is this allowed?

Any advise or resources would be helpful.
