I need assistance explaining to my provider the guidelines for this CPT. He understands the AMA guidelines. He states their guidelines for urgent/emergency is 24 hours. He states the patient has an MI along with cardiogenic shock, acute respiratory failure, etc. There is no documentation to indicate the cath lab was activated emergently.
