Hello,

I have received a denial from Medicare for CPT 92972 saying invalid. It was billed with 92928 LD and 92972 LD for the physician. How do I correct this to get paid ?
 
In my experience, the insurance carriers are not wanting the anatomical modifier for CPT 92972. I bill as 92972 XU with no issues. Hope this helps.
