I am a little confused, patient was in observation care from 09/21-09/22 and had an EKG done (09/21) but my provider did not interpreted the report until 10/18/2020. According to CMS the date the review and interpretation was completed is the service date we will bill. Would I be billing as OP 10/18 for both service date and admission? Even though patient was not in the facility on this date of service?

Yes....the place of service is where the EKG was performed. The date of service for 93010 is when the interpretation and report of the EKG was completed or signed.
