It is my understanding that there are specific drugs that can / cannot be billed using this code.
adenosine - no
isuprel - yes
BUT, is dopamine a drug that can be billed using this code? (procedure: AT, VT, atypical flutter). it was used to induce both the AT and the VT
thanks in advance

Isuprel, epinephrine, dobutamine, or procainamide can be coded with 93623. Adenosine per the ACC, is allowed as a drug for 93623 but depends on insurance also. Adenosine is used to suppress an arrhythmia and I have never seeing it used, so I am not sure in what instant a EP would use this during EP study/ablation.
