Our billing company has told me that the insurance companies are bundling this with the E&M charge and they are having to write this charge off. This is not something that is done with every visit. Has anyone else come across this? Is there a way anyone has found to bill and get reimbursed?
 
Thanks, Lisa. As a "new" coder in a practice with a billing company, I'm at a disadvantage. By not seeing the reimbursements, I can't learn from them.
