I am currently working for an Occupational/ Physical Therapy business and we are having trouble getting our FCEs and PPDs paid for by worker's compensation. We've been using CPT 97750 and billing per unit for the FCEs and were told by our billing company to bill 97750 and notate that it was a PPD. I found on the State Worker's Compensation website( dated May 2009) that FCEs were to be billed with code FCE01 max allowable $38.78 per each 15 minutes but not to exceed $800. Which do we need to use?
