I am hoping that someone can help me. I have been seeing a lot of denials coming from commercial payers, Aetna a lot, about billing a 97760 with an L code for orthodics. A code like L3393. I have read that Medicare will only pay for the L code and not the 97760 if they are billed together. Am I right in this? And what about for commercial payers?
