I am understanding 97803 (nutrition managemet) and S9451 (exercise therapy) cannot be billed by a medical provider. MD, APRN or PA-C. I understand MNT must have DM, Renal Dz, recvd a kidney within 36mon, and requires a medical provider referral. I am reading it is only payable by a RD or Nutritional Provider. Any insight?
