Wiki 97804, 97150 group therapy question

I have always been told that these specific group therapy codes 97150 and 97804 can be used to report group settings, but not to exceed a maximum number of 6 individuals. Does anyone have references to confirm this or otherwise? I appreciate any feedback. Any guidelines out there from CMS that specifies how many a 'group' is other than 2 or more?
