I have a question that some of you may have a good answer for it and could help me to clear this issue.
If you have a patient who is out of the 10 days global period of a minor procedure, lets said on day 12 after the procedure, and the Doctor see this pt in the office for an E/M service as a follow of the surgery, can she/he charge for a follow office visit 99211-99215 instead a post-op 99024 even when the documentation support a post-op visit?
Please advice.
