Can anybody give me any insight as to when this code should be billed? If we are a Peds office and have regular Saturday hours on a regular basis...is 99051 attached to every visit that day or just the patients that call in that Saturday that are seen on that same Saturday?

Also, in regards to the holiday rule, if we are open Martin Luther King Day, when would we bill 99051? Every patient seen that day?

This code is very vague in its description and we are having trouble deciphering how to bill. Any input would be appreciated.
