If a nurse responds to an emergency outside of the office can we report code 99211 and 99060 in conjuction with each other? Let's say this is an established patient.

A nurse cannot see a patient outside of the office and bill under the physician number. So if she responds to an emergent condition outside the office setting then she is called a good samariton and it is not billable. So no to the 99211 with or without the 99060.
