I am in WA state and apparently a law was passed saying that all payers, except federal (Medicare for example) are to pay this code. The reimbursement is $6.57. Is anyone getting reimbursed for this code? Does the provider have to document something about the equipment that's used? My provider wants me to go back and bill this code on all patients, except Medicare, since this code was put in place. First of all, this will be a big undertaking, second, I don't think I can do this and get reimbursed.
