Notes contain a short message, "Patient did not see provider" and some other stuff about lab results or medication adjustment or that they ordered an injection. Can they bill for 99211? The PA entered the E/M code themselves, if that helps. lol TIA

The documentation must support the code, so the answer could be yes or no depending on what the 'some other stuff' is.

NGS Medicare publishes a good job aid for when 99211 is appropriate - I would recommend using that as a guide to determine whether or not this code can be billed when the patient does not see the provider:
