I wanted to get some input on if this code is being used correctly. My doc had a patient scheduled for an Epidural Injection she came in and the nurse took her vitals and checked blood sugar for the injection. Pt blood sugar was too high and is documented in the chart that the procedure was rescheduled due to high blood sugar. Can he use 99211 for a nurse visit or does it have to be a different code? Any input would be appreciated.
THANK YOU!!
