Good Morning All,

Id like to get your thoughts on a discussion that was brought up in one of our meetings.

Scenario: A patient presents for a colon cancer screening only, no symptoms.

Discussion was that this should be billed as the age appropriate preventative code Ie: 99394, 99395, 99396. Using the V76.51, V16.0 or V12.72 as dx.


I would really like your thoughts on this, I don't know that I agree with this as I believed these codes are very comprehensive.
