Wiki 995.3 or 447.9?

Hi. What is the correct ICD 9 for "allergy". I always use 477.X series for seasonal, hay fever or allergic rhinitis, but the physician documented "allergy" w/o reference to the cause.

If the documentation does not give you a type of allergy i would use 995.3!
