I am recently AAPC certified in medical coding (July of 2014) and had the latest ICD-10 included in my training, and have completed 5 months with an externship in medical coding and billing, but still haven't found a job or someone willing to hire me. I also have 27+ years experience already as an acute care medical transcriptionist/SHDA with extensive knowledge in anatomy and physiology, as well as medical terminology.
