I am new to coding. I work in a billing office and we have a pain management doctor who performed an injection of .25% marcaine and 6 mg of dexamethasone into an abdominal neuroma site. Any idea on what code should be used with this? The office coded the charge as 11900 which is a lesion injection. I'm not really sure on this. Could any body please help.
