I just started work in a multi-specialty clinic including primary care, I'm unfamiliar with the regulations on an ABN if required for PT/INR tests. Evidently the clinic routinely uses History of DVT and long term anti coagulant as the DX, but I'm not sure the ABN is necessary, plus they are using the modifier for Clia waived? Is any of this correct? Help please.
