With the many changes since the surprise billing act, what is the minimum charge required before requesting a patient to complete an ABN when procedures are performed in the office. I haven't been able to locate information as to whether the amount is $300 or $500 or if another factor is involved. These services are usually covered services and not denied for not being medically necessary. We are a pain management office and will sometimes provide injections. Thank you for your feedback.
