office dispute - for an abnormal tropinin level Dx code 796.0? or 796.4? the doctor says in almost every EMR that he uses when he starts typing abn troponin - the 790.6 code is that comes up. However that code uses examples of "minerals" in the discription of the code - & troponin isn't a mineral?? Suggestions?? sounds like either might be ok - but I want it consistant.

do you run into problems with it not be on the LCD/NCD's? That can be a freq prob with an "other" or unlisted code.
