Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows if getting a Certification in Medical Billing will help with getting a job and increasing pay?

Currently, I am a Medical Billing Manager with 3+ years experience and not certified. I know coding and having taken classes for coding but do not want to be a coder so I don't want to get the CPC. I love doing all the other non-coding work. Billing, Aging, Contract Negotiations, etc.

I am trying to decide if it will be worth getting the AAPC's Certification for medical Billing. Any input would be appreciative.
