Quick question regarding screening....Z0000 or Z136. I read up on Medicare screening policy which I know Z0000 should not be on lab slips(as they are for reimbursement for md office visits) but another dx code due to documented issues- I10 ect. but is this different for commercial Ins. as one of our commercial billers indicated that they seem to pay on Z0000 and other screening codes. Any help in clarifying is greatly appreciated.
