Does anyone have a contact or site that explains academic anesthesia billing in detail? What I'm specifically looking for are rules involving the billing of a CRNA who takes over the case from a medical resident (both medically directed by an MD). Is the CRNA time billable? Does it matter how much time the CRNA and resident work on the case? Thanks for your help!
