If a patient comes to the hospital outpatient infusion center to ONLY have their vein accessed ( patient is having a scan w/ contrast )how do you bill for that?
I cant use 36415- venipuncture b/c that is for venous blood collection.
E&M's are not billed in this center, only treatment codes.

Same scenario getting access from the port?

suggestions are much appreciated..thanks
