I'm currently hiring for a full-time Account Representative opportunity with a specialty clinic in the Kansas City, Kansas area. This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. You would be working on a team of 6 on the medical billing/accounts receivable team.
With the roll out of ICD-10 this fall, you can expect to work heavily with denials/rejections. Responsible for denials, appeals, and follow ups. Other responsibilities include:

- Perform audits of patient accounts to ensure accuracy of the billing for insurance and coding
- Reviews accounts aging on monthy basis and reports inconsistencies and correct errors as appropriate
- Follows up on insurance billing to ensure timely receipt of payments
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of patient account experience
- accounts receivable experience
- attention-to-detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience handling denials and appeals
